Approved NDoH Pick-Up Point (PuP)

Chronic Medication Collection — CCMDD

Octavia Rabotapi Private Family Clinic (ORC) is an appointed Pick-Up Point under the National Department of Health's Central Chronic Medicine Dispensing and Distribution (CCMDD) programme — the alternative to queuing at a clinic or hospital for repeat chronic medication.

How CCMDD Works at ORC

Your medication, ready and waiting

📦

1. Parcel arrives

Your pre-dispensed medication parcel is couriered to ORC ahead of your scheduled collection date.

🧊

2. Stored securely

Kept in a secure, lockable space — cold-chain items refrigerated per Good Pharmacy Practice.

🪪

3. You collect

Show your ID, sign for your parcel, and you're done — typically under 10 minutes.

📅

4. Next date confirmed

We confirm your next scheduled collection date before you leave.

Why Switch to ORC

Built for people already registered on CCMDD

If you're already collecting chronic/repeat medication through CCMDD at another facility, you can ask to move your collection point to ORC.

Skip the queue

No more long waits at a clinic or hospital pharmacy for medication you already qualify for.

Closer to home

Pick a collection point that's actually convenient for where you live.

Completely free

CCMDD is a free Department of Health programme — there is no cost to register, switch your collection point, or collect your medication.

How the Switch Actually Happens

The real change happens at your government clinic

ORC can't switch your pick-up point on its own — only the clinicians at the government clinic where you're registered can do that, by capturing you on the Department of Health's SyNCH system with ORC selected as your pick-up point.

1. Tell ORC

Fill in the form below. This is ORC's own record of everyone who wants to switch to us.

2. We take it to your clinic

As part of our service, ORC takes this list to government clinics on patients' behalf to request the switch.

3. Clinic staff confirm it on SyNCH

That's the actual, official switch — done by the clinic, not by ORC.

Prefer to sort it yourself? At your next clinic visit, simply ask for “Octavia Rabotapi Private Family Clinic” as your pick-up point — you can request it even if the clinic hasn't suggested it to you.

Tell ORC

Add yourself to ORC's CCMDD list

This records your request with ORC and helps us prepare the list we take to government clinics on patients' behalf — please tell us exactly where you collect today so we know which clinic to follow up at.

Used only to estimate your distance to ORC — never shown publicly.

This records your request with ORC and helps us follow up at your government clinic on your behalf — the pick-up point switch itself is only completed once the clinic captures you on SyNCH, so it isn't instant.
